Cuyahoga Falls -- A town singer-songwriter and a body of local musicians are staging a concert to take raise money for the Cuyahoga Falls Library.
Falls Library Bene-Fest, a music anniversary and benefit for Cuyahoga Falls Library, will take part of the country Aug. 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the southeast platter apportion of the library parking lot at 2015 Third St., Cuyahoga Falls.
When Gov. Ted Strickland signed the proposed majestic budget into law July 17, it included a reduction in Ohio's Custom Library Fund from 2.22 percent of the Normal Revenue Fund to 1.9 percent. Falls Library Manager Kevin Rosswurm said his toilet will receive about $350,000 less in hold funding this year, but said, "Next year will be even worse because we will have to function the entire year with the cut in grandeur funding."
To raise funds for the library, city promoter and singer-songwriter Barry Be is producing, managing and serving emcee an all-day outdoor music entertainment at the library featuring 12 of the block's blues, country, citizenry and folk-rock acts, some of whom be a part of to Folknet and Summit County Songwriters Circumnavigate.
