DVD REVIEW: PRINCESS PROTECTION PROGRAM

The fundamental plot, as I mentioned earlier, is comely standard, formulaic pack up, but it's layered in a somewhat sly way.  The whole protection program/relocation look for was a unique little narrate (even if it was handled a little clumsily) and I can exceptionally appreciate that for the most part, Princess Rosalinda (Lovato) wasn’t your archetype “fairy naval scuttlebutt” princess.  It wasn’t all pink satin and dainty woodland animals and Truthful Love’s Touch.  In fact, it dulcet much goes out of its way to make Princess Rosie the antithesis of that, making federal pride and political reliability the main focus of her line and position.  They assuredly got that right, but that’s about all they got equity, at least thematically.  Everything else was old sawéd high drill dramedy, stereotypical nasty girls, fish out of O tropes (tee hee Rosie doesn’t be aware what a hamburger is!) and the standard “We’re so contrasting but we’re
