Apple Removes Nintendo DS-Clone From ...

Chalk one up for the inevitability of abrupt action for copyright infractions, as a especially brazen Nintendo DS-clone App has been removed from Apple's iTunes App Collect for being, well, too similar to a certain dual-screened light console.

The DS DoubleSys App, which bears an uncanny resemblence to Nintendo's DS console, promises to give the look and have a hunch of the popular handheld - essential stylus included - for Apple's iPhone plank. The official website touts the App "prevalent the world over," listing sales stats from across the world with (they claim) #1 eminence in Nederland.  No praise is made specifically to the Nintendo DS, but given how closely the DS DoubleSys mimics the look, know, and function using the software to amuse oneself with b consider copied games very likely isn't that far-fetched.

Curiously, when fatiguing to access the App from the company's website, the bulletin "The item you've requested is not currently close by in the US Store" teases that perhaps non-US residents are still disengage to download the software. Although this hasn't been confirmed, the deletion of the DS DoubleSys App follows in vocation with other mentions across the board, including the liquidation of a YouTube clip demonstrating the functional functions of the DS DoubleSys in proceeding. Youtube's removal cites copyright claims from Nintendo itself, which also shouldn't sign in as any real surprise.
