A FRAUDSTER has admitted present to sell sat navs and versatile phones on eBay – but never supplying any goods to the buyers.

Andrew Geoffrey Clare, from Penmaenmawr, was in court yesterday accused of 13 counts of fraudulently selling electrical goods over the internet.

The 41-year-old denied seven charges of contribution to sell seven Nintendo DS Lite gaming systems at Llandudno Magistrates Court, allegedly making himself a comprehensive of £603, between August and September 2007.

But Clare, of Bryn Awel, Esplanade, Penmaenmawr, admitted six shut charges of offering to retail two sat navs, earning himself £327.20, and four movable phones – two Sony Ericssons, a Nokia and a Samsung – bringing in a further £294.50.

He pleaded sheepish to offering to sell a cleaning woman a Garmin Nuvi GPS sat nav and falsely claiming he’d send it when paid, making £142.20.

The other sat nav infringement involved offering a man a Nokia Tom Tom, making a profit of £185.
